Visit US is available to non-US citizens or non-US residents who are at least 14 days old traveling outside their home country and visiting the US. The plan is not available to US Citizens, US Residents, or Green Card holders in the US.

Does the plan cover dental emergencies?

Visit USA – Standard and Superior plans include coverage for the emergency dental treatment necessary to replace sound natural teeth lost or damaged in an accident covering up to $1000 or for the emergency relief of acute onset of pain covered up to $100. Does the plan offer trip-related benefits?

Visit USA Standard and Superior plans offer trip interruption benefits up to $2,500 and $5,000 coverage, respectively.

Does the plan cover pregnancy?

Yes, but only covers new pregnancy complications during the first 26 weeks. Review the certificate for complete details.

Can you renew or extend the plan?

Does Visit USA Budget cover hospitals?

The plan covers hospital bills up to $1,500 per day for 30 days max for Plan A, and it covers up to $2,750 per day for 30 days max for Plan B. If the bill exceeds more than this amount per day, it must be covered by the insured.

What other outpatient treatment does the plan offer?

Outpatient benefits included in the plans are surgery, pre-admission testing, diagnostics X-ray and labs, emergency rooms, observation room services, outpatient prescription drugs, and office visits, including Urgent Care.

Does it cover dental emergencies?

No, the plan does not cover dental emergencies or accidents.

Who can buy the Visit USA Budget plan?

Non-US Citizens who are at least 14 days of age that are traveling to the US.  are eligible to buy this plan. The Visit USA Budget has two options to choose from – Plan A ($50K) and Plan B ($150K). Individuals aged 14 days to 69 years can opt for either Plan A or B for coverage up to the policy maximum. For ages 65 to 69 years, Plan B provides $100K in coverage while individuals aged 80 years and above can opt for Plan A with $20K in coverage. Individuals between 70 to 80 years, can opt for Plan A with $50K in coverage.

What is the cancellation and refund process?

Premiums will be refunded in full if a written cancellation request is received prior to the certificate effective date.

Premiums may be refunded after the certificate’s effective date if a written request has been received and is subject to the following provisions:

a. A $25 cancellation fee will apply for administrative costs incurred by us; and

b. Only the unused portion of the plan cost will be refunded; and

c. You cannot have filed any claims to be eligible for a premium refund.

Can the Visit USA Budget plan be renewed?

The Visit USA-budget plan cannot be renewed. However, you may purchase another policy if you need additional coverage. Simply re-enroll in Visit USA-Budget and coverage can begin from the very next day.
